So let us tell you more about our May kit, lovingly inspired by the traditional Carrot Cake, we’ve added our own special twist. Our carrot and pecan squares are made with fresh grated carrot, which creates a incredibly moist, light and airy sponge. We’ve also added roasted pecans into the sponge to add extra texture. The squares are topped with a mouthwatering cinnamon buttercream, which is piped onto the cake. Finally we’ve created a crunchy pecan brittle, that can be crushed up and sprinkled on top for extra decoration and an added bite. This cake is perfect for an afternoon treat, served with a lovely cup of tea or coffee.
