    What better bake for a wet half term than these gooey Cookie Caramel Squares? Two thick, crumbly layers of triple chocolate chip cookie, sandwiched with a syrupy layer of golden caramel, and topped with a sprinkle of chocolate chips.

    These sticky squares are perfect served warm with ice cream, or why not try making an ice cream sundae with chunks of Cookie Caramel Squares, and topped with extra caramel sauce.

    With a little extra help from you, our Junior bakers will learn to make their very own caramel - adding to the list of culinary skills that will last them a lifetime. The caramel can reach very high temperatures so we suggest a little extra supervision when they get to step 2 - as always we highlight these trickier bits in bold, so you know when to lend a hand!
