    A one-off recipe and baking kit from our monthly baking club. Each month we release a new bake box, with a recipe by Michel Roux, to our Baking Club members. This is your chance to get your hands on one of our limited edition baking kits. Our current March box is the delicious Chocolate Drip Cake.

  • This month’s bake is an elegant, decadent, chocolate drip cake.

    Three chocolatey sponge layers are sandwiched together with an irresistible toffee flavoured buttercream. The cake is iced with more toffee buttercream and piped with some smooth, delicious, chocolate ganache. The top of the cake is covered with more chocolate ganache and decorated with some caramel curls that beautifully mirror the flavour of the buttercream.

    Whether you are celebrating Easter or just a joyful start to Spring, this cake will make a beautiful centrepiece.

    Icing sugar: (sugar (97%), maize starch), self-raising flour (wheat flour, raising agents (sodium acid pyrophosphate and sodium bicarbonate), statutory nutrition (calcium, niacin, iron, thiamin)), caster sugar, demerara sugar (sugar, cane molasses), dark chocolate discs (4%) (cocoa mass, sugar, cocoa butter, emulsifier (soy lecithin), natural vanilla flavour), cocoa powder (3%) (20-22% fat (cocoa butter), alkalized), caramel blossom curls (sugar, whole milk powder, cocoa butter, cocoa mass, emulsifier: E442, flavouring, spices, natural vanilla flavouring), baking powder (raising agents (sodium acid pyrophosphate, sodium bicarbonate, calcium phosphate), wheat flour (calcium, niacin, iron, thiamin)).
