    This month we’re turning our hands to making a Walnut Spelt Loaf. We’ve lightened this loaf by balancing the flavourful wholemeal spelt flour with some strong white flour. The walnuts, although adding flavour, do not overpower the loaf, but add a little crunch, along with the poppy seeds.

    This is a really versatile loaf, but we recommend using it to make a posh cheese sandwich - perhaps with a little salad and pickle.

    Wholemeal spelt flour (wheat), strong white bread flour (wheat flour, statutory nutrients: calcium, niacin, iron, thiamin), walnuts, poppy seeds, caster sugar, salt (salt, anti-caking agent: sodium ferrocyanide), yeast (yeast, emulsifier: (sorbitan monostearate)).
