Our November baking kit has definitely landed with a bang, the Sticky Toffee Ginger Loaf, is the perfect warming autumnal bake. This bake is a rich, substantial, date and ginger loaf, generously covered with a delicious, oozy caramel coloured sticky toffee sauce. The cake is strewn with a fiery sprinkle of crystallised ginger, and some sweet, chewy fudge pieces. This bake is extremely moreish, and goes brilliantly with a steaming hot cup of tea. It would also be the perfect warming accompaniment to begin the Christmas festivities.

So let us tell you more about our October kit...with Halloween right around the corner we have you covered with this delicious eye-catching cake! As Terry would say chocolate and orange are two flavours that are meant for each other, so why not combine them in this delicious cake.
We've introduced a trendy new baking skill this month and created a marble effect sponge, that combines both delicious flavours. The white sponge is flavoured with orange zest and juice which creates a beautiful light and fluffy texture, whereas our chocolate sponge has been flavoured with our rich and decadent cocoa powder. We have a gorgeous orange syrup that is drizzled onto the sponges whilst they are still warm, which creates a wonderful moist texture. To decorate we have given you two alternating icings, one that contains orange and the other that contains melted chocolate, they are both mouth-wateringly delicious. To top it off we have given you marbled chocolate curls to finish.
