The pastry case is filled with a delicate frangipane, fresh pears, and topped with a beautiful shortcrust lattice. With a light dusting of icing sugar to finish, this tart is an elegant, yet summery bake, exquisite served either hot or cold.

    This recipe will help build confidence with shortcrust pastry, due to the straightforward method, and the pliability of the pastry, making it perfect for rolling and shaping.
